This special exhibit highlights the creativity and talent of our ‘finishers’, the long arm or traditional quilter that adds the finishing touch. Quilts in this exhibit may be made by the quilter or may have been quilted for a client. They all demonstrate the exquisite skill of one of our Central Oregon quilters.
Coming from a background of sewing her own clothes, a family history of weaving fabrics, and engaging in handwork, Corni found a love for the accuracy and intricacy of longarm quilting machines. She has quilted more than 500 quilts for clients on her machine, named Talullah.
Moving to Bend in 2012, she was intrigued by the modern quilt movement and joined several Central Oregon quilt guilds: Central Oregon Modern Quilt Guild, Mt. Bachelor Quilters’ Guild, the East of the Cascades Quilt Guild, and The Founding Fibers.
